The Seasonal Wellness Series: Fall

A six-week virtual Lunch & Learn with Amara

Clear, grounded guidance for the everyday health questions you’ve been wondering about.

You want to take a more natural approach to your health and your family’s health. But between Google searches, social media, conflicting advice and endless options, figuring out what you actually need to know can feel like a full-time job.

This fall, join me for six focused, practical conversations designed to help you cut through some of that noise. Each week, we’ll take one question you may be asking and break it down together—so you leave with useful information, practical tools and more confidence in making choices that feel right for you and your family.

You don’t need to know everything. You just need good information, trusted guidance and the space to ask your questions.

Six weeks. Six important questions. Practical information you can use right away.

I know how overwhelming it can feel to want to care for your family in a more natural way, but not know where to begin—or what information to trust.

You can spend hours searching online and still walk away feeling less clear than when you started. One person says magnesium changed everything. Another says your child needs a probiotic. Someone else swears by homeopathy, vitamin C, elderberry, bone broth, fermented foods or a remedy you’ve never heard of.

And suddenly, what should feel supportive starts to feel like another full-time job.

After more than 20 years as an integrative health coach—and nearly as long raising my own two children with these tools—I’ve learned that most moms don’t need more random information. They need someone to help make the information feel clear, practical and usable.

That’s what this series is meant to be.

Each week, we’ll take one common question and slow it down. I’ll share what I’ve learned through my training, my work with women and families, and my own lived experience as a mother.

Not so you can do everything perfectly.

So you can feel more informed, more grounded and more confident making the choices that feel right for you and your family.

Why I Created This Series

Six Weeks. Six Questions.

You don’t need another course filled with hours of information you’ll never have time to finish.

Each week, we’ll focus on one specific question and spend 30 minutes breaking it down into clear, useful information, followed by 15 minutes of live Q&A.

Come to the sessions live, bring your lunch and your questions, or watch the replay when you have time.

Week one

The foods, supplements and natural remedies I reach for first

A scratchy throat. The beginning of a sniffle. That feeling that something is coming on. I’ll share what I keep on hand and what I reach for during those first hours and days to support the body’s natural healing process.

What Should I Take at the First Sign of a Cold?

Week two

Which Type of Magnesium Is Right for Me?

Understanding the different forms and how to choose the one that fits your needs

Magnesium can support everything from sleep and stress to digestion and muscle tension—but the form you choose matters. We’ll make sense of the most common types, why you might choose one over another and what to look for in a quality supplement.

Week three

Homeopathy: Where Do I Start?

A simple introduction to homeopathy and a few remedies worth knowing

Homeopathy can be incredibly useful, but it can also be confusing when you're new to it. I’ll explain what it is, how it differs from herbs and other natural remedies, and introduce you to a few remedies I’ve found especially useful to have at home.

Week four

Do I Really Need a Probiotic?

How to choose one, what to look for and where fermented foods fit in

There are a lot of probiotics on the market—and more isn't always better. We’ll talk about what probiotics actually do, what strains and CFUs mean, how to read a label and whether a supplement makes sense for you or your family.

Week five

How Do I Get More Healthy Food Into My Kids?

Practical strategies for kids who would happily live on sugar and carbs

You know what you want your kids to eat. Getting them to eat it is another story. We’ll talk about realistic ways to add more nourishing foods, expand what your kids will eat and begin shifting the sugar-and-carb pattern without turning every meal into a battle.

Week six

The 5 Most Overlooked Ways to Stay Healthy This Fall

Simple shifts that support sleep, energy, mood and immune resilience

Some of the most important things we can do for our health don't come in a bottle. We’ll talk about five things that tend to disappear when fall gets busy—sleep, less screen time, time outdoors, margin in our schedules and real connection—and practical ways to protect them in everyday family life.
